HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

greetings to all, hey i would just like to thank everyone that came to our show at the wonderful Jimmy's Tavern last night. I think the show went very well, especially since we had so many fans there. so thanks again to everyone who came out. anyways this is the first time the site has been updated in a few months and that is partially my fault, however everyone has been very busy with their own affairs, however with the winter approaching we have had more time to focus on the band again. we have been practicing and writing alot, and are looking at studio time over christmas break ( for all of oyu who cannot await our awesome album haha) so that should be a good time and i will make sure to keep you updated on that. also we might get a show at the foxcroft girls school in middleburg in decemeber or so, when i get a definate date i will post the info. thanks for coming out again and have a great thanksgiving!

Hello everyone, this last monday, Memorial Day, Andrew and I (Alex) went to the gigantic sale at Guitar Center. It was nothing short of incredible, though I wished we'd had more money to spend. Anyways there was about a 5 minute line up outside the door when we got there, and we were there at 7:50 10 minutes before the joint opens. Pretty nuts. When we got inside the place was nothing short of a mad house. People were scrambling all over the place to get to the best deals and that's just what happend. Guitars flew off the shelves, people literally walked in and said "I want that drum set" and it was done, they took the set out to the front and the people loaded it into their car. We only got a condenser microphone (for recording) because we needed one and were limited on the funds $150, but we got an incredible deal, saved something like 60%, but anyways, fun time. Later.

hello everyone, before i get started i would like for everyone to know that i have created an official Windy Hill wallpaper and buddy icon that are available for public use under the downloads section, they are rather neat so check em out. anyways we are not playing the 94.7 battle of the bands because it turns out we all have to be 18 and no one is so there you have it. we still might play the jaxx gig but that one is still up in the air. however, we are definately playing at the Batlle of the Bands in the Manassas Park area this Saturday (the 22nd) with a bunch of other bands. for some reason its early in the morning and we just happen to be the first band becuase alex luckily happened to snag the last slto for us, anyways if you wanna drop by and show your support be there no later than 11 am.
i will post more specific directions and location under the performance section in a day or so so be on the lookout for that. that is all for now, carry on....and check them buddy icons!

haha...wow, so a little over two months without an update. I apologize for this but we have all been busy with school and other things, but with the summer apporaching we are starting to put our focus back towards the band. we are interested in playing at several upcoming battle of the bands. we hope to perform in the one at the 9:30 club, hosted by 94.7 the aero on june 5th, check these sites out for details http://www.947thearrow.com/index.shtml and http://rockingarage.bolt.com/. we may also enter in the annual battle of the bands hosted at Jaxx in Springfield Virginia, but that is not certain. check www.jaxxroxx.com for details. also i case you may have been wondering we won the battle of the bands at our school last night, and it was recorded. in the coming weeks i will hopefully be able to post the winning set in our downloads section. stay tuned for further updates.

Hello everyone, i got our new forum up and running. the old one was just awful, you had very few options and it was very difficult to maintain. it also cost like five bucks a month.. this new one gives the members more benefits and it is totally free, so party on.

Well I think we had a great practice the other night. Our covers are really starting to tighten and or style is really starting to define itself. New stuff is coming, just be patient.

Excellent, the new forum seems to be running well. Only a few people have joined so far so its working good. So enjoy the forum, there is more to come later.

Well we had a great practice today after school. Worked on some old covers (Weezer, Zeppelin, Todies, STP, etc;). Then we practiced our own stuff, did a great version of Greatest Tragedy, and a decent "Your Drug." Anyways, no recording today, much to the dismay of those of you anxiously awaiting our second independent demo release...

Oh yea, we also may have a consistant gig at a club owned by a friend of MJ's parents Wednesday nights, we will keep you informed.
